Wedding memories
This scrapbook page holds a very special place in my heart it is a beautiful picture of my husband Chris' grandparents on their wedding day 19th Febuary 1955 as you know we also share the 19th of April 2005 anniversary of when we started being a couple and we are honnored that we share the same wedding day too 19th Febuary 2013.
So of course this layout had to have a special place in our wedding album which I'm still working on..... I have so many photographs which I still want to include in this album I'm starting to think it may have been a little wiser doing a mixed project life with eliments of 12x12!
This layout has some hidden journaling on the blue tag as well as an aceitate shaker jar which was stamped with staze on and I hand stiches the edge.

Three foot festival
So on Wednesday me and Nathan went to the three foot festival in hylands park chelmsford for a mini festival just for little people and although Nathan is only 5 months old he still had a great time :-) Nathan enjoyed having a taster class if Jo jingles and Talking tots as well as playing in the giant sand pit. I'm defiantly going to take him next year when he will be walking and enjoy much more of what was on offer. We went with one of Nathan's older friends (2 1/2 years old) who enjoyed the interactive we're going on a bear hunt in the woods, playing foot ball, soft play area, racing a push along bike and much more!! I can't wait to go again next year so greatful I manged to get a ticket from my friend who unfortunately couldn't make it.

Safe Harbour
So here's another recent one of Nathan playing with his boats in his paddling pool he's almost getting there with sitting up on his own now, clever boy.
For this layout I flicked pink and green paint across the white cardsrock background to bring out the colours of the boats and ducks in the paddling pool and tie in with the cut out boats from patterned paper. I used a strip of light blue velum which I placed in my swirls embossing folder to create the seaside waves look and raised the boats of damp pads to create demention the the layout.
Please leave me a message and let me know what you think.

It's a hat thing
I don't know why there are so many pictures of me wearing diffrent hats as a child! This layout is one of my many creative projects I want to record my family history and my own childhood to one day share with Nathan.
For this layout I used diffrent strips of craft cardsrock which I then embossed using a selection of embossing folders to create a miss-mash of textures to reflect the 80's fashions of my childhood. What I rembember is almost everything didn't match and most things had a nice brown pattern to it!!!
I hope everyone has had a nice weekend, I attended my local scrapbooking crop yesterday's and have had a nice relaxing family day today.

A simply wonderful ordinary day
I can't believe these pictures were taken nearly a year ago at the Fling Festival held in Chelmsford Central Park, me and the girls took full advantage of the free photobooth and dressing up bits on offer!
I inked round the edge of my card stock with white and then a light pink to create a dusty chalk board look then flicked pink paint across the background, I used papers from echo park here and now rage and eliments from the coordinating sticker sheet raised on foam pads I just loved the border strip saying 'a simply wonderful ordinary day' it captures my feelings of enjoyment to spend the day haveing fun with friends.
So today me and Nathan are off to the three foot festival which is held just before the fling festival and designed especially for little ones, living the dream and making memories to last a life time.
Have a great day everyone Katie x
Splash
I thought I would share with you one of my more recent layouts of Nathan enjoying the glorious weather we have been having and playing in his paddling pool and needless to say the title had to be splash!!!
I used paint stain dabblers to make to splat effect and flicked white paint to add a water mark look. I used a cricket to cut out the title and used glossy accents to create a wet look on the title, I love this sequin string which I lauered up and attached using blue staples.
Let me know what you think
