GoGoGetaway Badge Challenge

After days of thinking about what I wanted to do and staring at the template Ive come up with this I used a picture of me and my man while we were walking in Hylands park last April :-) and found some jellybean alphabet stickers which went well with the dotty doodlebug paper and ribbon. I really loved Debra Li's badge/desk tidy which she posted on the gogogang facebook page she used a spinning wheel style to showcase all the classes she was taking so I decided to have a pull down section of my badge listing my own class choices as i lose everything and it would be perfect on my cupcake craft apron :-)
I printed out the collage of class pictures that Nicola Kerriadge put onto the facebook page and cut out my class choices adding the numbers to which ones I was doing.
As well as typing out my class list and times...
I used a ribbon and brad to secure the badge when the information needed to be stored. hope you all like take care for now xxx Katie xxx

1,2,3 February Snow Angels

This is the last layout Ive made using my February Scrapagogo kit, three pictures that were taken of me making snow angels at my house in the fresh snow and I found the crate alpha numbers and labels very useful in embellishing the photographs. As I was coming to the end of my kit I had only small amounts of each piece of patterned paper left which I used in blocks as well as the branding strip from my minds eye everywhere mirrors to add a brown strip across the page as well as the left over piece of doily covered by some of the spare paper. however I do feel that this page blends really well as a finished product... enjoy. I'm very pleased that Ive managed to create six pages from my kit :-P but now quite disappointed that its all gone :-( well this is all that is left over...

One Fine Day of happy scrapping

For this layout I used my scrapagogo February kit and a piece of tropical blue coloured card stock added I used a picture of me doing what I do best.... making a mess of my dinning room table with my friend Lauren we both had a fun day scraping away.
I used glossy accents on the hearts of the tree to make them stand out and the Websters country bird to the ground with a small piece of Lily Bee patterned paper to make a little hill of flowers.
I thought that the sweetness and kindness labels from the crate labels added perfect sentiments to the page with the heart shaped blue pin and metallic heart and flower beads on tucked under the photo to embellish the page.

Twilight Fans!

Ok for this layout I used items form my February scrapagogo kit as well as one sheet of plain white bazzil, a piece of blue zig-zag ribbon and three brown Maya Road tickets to embellish everything else was from the kit and I think I have enough stuff left for one last layout so ill be working on that after this...

I inked the edge of the orange bazzil with white ink and the Lily Bee head over heels crush paper inked with brown ink as well as the white card stock inked with a brown edge, I just think it helped the layers to blend and I choose to position them angled to complement the crazy picture of me and my friend Chelsea. The title of the page is along the side strip of the page which looks super the crate alpha is just the right size and the blue colour draws your eyes to it. I used the brown maya road tickets to embellish the page as well as the cut out of the bird from the printed dolli and added the date.I did some handwritten journalling with blue and pink sparkly jelly roll pens underling and boxing some of the words to stand out.

Happy New Year 2011

OK so this is the third layout Ive made using my Scrapagogo Kit which only arrived on Wednesday and I absolutely love the kit...
I used lots of different rectangle blocks to brake up this layout into sections, the title for this layout came very naturally and I used both sets of alphas from crate paper random range.
I tied these cute little buttons and sliver key with the green ribbon from the neted bag in the embellishment pack to tie in different ways. also added the true love lasts a life time sentiment and the amour scallop circle from the hybrids sheet and stamped birds in the corner... cute.

Love My Cat

So next of my layouts using the February Essentially Go Go kit had to include these photos of my amazing cat bushes... long story i found him abandoned in the bushes and the name stuck :-)

I used a different technique for this layout with my tattered angel glimmer screen I copied the pattern with a pencil and then used some Jenni Bowlin ranger no.8 acrylic paint in soap powder with a paint brush then just as the paint was drying I added some blue glitter to the paint so it just caught the wet edges of the paint.

I used the piece of fabric which held the pins together in the kit to stamp on and attached to a piece of the pink create paper to make a postage stamp which I coloured using my Gelly Roll pens with sparkle and added a black outline.

I inked the edge of the page with white ink pad and embellished with the Crate Random sticker labels and cut out hybrids.

Love is ....

So after receiving my Scrapagogo February Essentially Go Go Kit yesterday I was itching to get scrapping :-)I loved the ideas book which was included in the kit and decide to give the Blueprint To Go Challenge a go so this is the end product....

So I created this layout using Crate paper Random Denim as a Base then cut a strip of Lily Bee Memorandum office blue and a strip of Lily Bee head over heels crush which I used my Fiskars border punch to make a little scallop detail along the edge I also used the Branding strip from the Crate paper denim paper as I really loved the detail and its was a waist not to use it :-)

I embellished my page with the button mix threaded with the Sew easy floss in aqua from a previous kit and I made a bow with the Websters scallop ribbon and fastened with one of the blue pins and added some of the yummy hybrids..... perfect!!!
