Best Friends

For this layout I used MME amazing Wander on the gray dot side I'm absolutely loving polka dots at the moment in my clothes and even my handbag lol my lovely Kath Kidston gray dot handbag :-) I had such an amazing day on the 10th March my best friend took me for a early birthday present a surprise trip to London including tickets to Disney Princesses on Ice anyone who knows me would know that I have every Disney in the classic collection on DVD and I love Disney's and think of my self as a princess!!!
for this layout I include my tickets and cut out a circle embellishment from a Disney on ice tag which I picked up from someones popcorn label after the show!!
Me and Lauren did have such a good time playing with our iPhone camera and pulling lots of silly faces.

This is my second layout using my Scrapagogo 'Happy Hive' March Kit Ive got to say that at first I wasn't sure on the papers but now I appsolutly love them...

I took some inspiration from Sams class on the gogo getaway but getting my craft knife out and cutting out the honeycomb pattern from the MME amazing honey blue paper. I then used the cut out sections to add definition on 3d foam pads with a mix of the aeroplane and bird hybrid elements to the page.
I created a film strip along the side of the paper with three photographs and used a brown pen for a stitching effect ... Katie xxx

Trip to London

So I've been getting crafty this afternoon with my March Scrapagogo Kit 'Happy Hive' which has some beautiful papers from MyMindsEye I followed the Blueprint To Go for this Layout.

I used the MME Be Amazing Kraft Unique for my base and added a raised shelf for the photographs with some added bazzil card stock I had leftover from some other projects, used the journaling tag from the hybrids and used the branding strip form the MME papers to add as embellishments.

I also attached the lace ribbon to the paper shelf secured with the paper clip and added this cute butterfly button and hybrid butterfly's to finish....

Ok so today is the day... the day Ive been waiting for since I booked my cancellation space in September!!! Its time for the March Scrapagogo Getaway at Theobolds Park and I'm super excited. Ive done all the prep work making sure I have a selcetion of photographs for each of the seven classes I'm taking. As well as creating my name badge and doing both the layout challenges. I had the near impossible task of packing!!! umm deciding what needs to be packed and what I can live without for one weekend was very difficult, especially when I realised that I don't have any storage bags to transport my stash lol but never fear I realise a couple of weeks ago so I had enough time to treat myself to a tote and a papermaina organiser bag with are both fantastic. so heres all the goodies Im taking with me..........

for some reason the smalles bag is my colothes!!!! in the navey spotted bag.

Year to go

I was just buzzing to have a go at challenge 3 for the scrapagogo getaway in only 12 Days time :-) however I was very stumped when i got home got out all my photographs and stated to think of a idea as for the challenge it set to use 8 diffident elements of scrapbook materials including 8 letters so I got a little suck with the title as that had to fit with a photograph........ anyway I found the photo I took of my wedding countdown app on my IPhone which made a screen shot of when it was exactly a year to go until our wedding so the title blended its self well to this photograph. I used robins egg blue and silver letting as this coincided with our wedding theme of Tiffany blue sparkles :-)it was only last month when this photograph was taken and a lot happened on that day i put a deposit on my dream wedding dress as well as having another viewing at our venue and lovely Sunday lunch with chris' parents to sample the cuisine, also I was surprised that my dad had paid some extra money towards the wedding and we have paid half now :-)

I used some Disney Princess sandylion sticker which I had in my stash to fit the fairytale feel of the page as well as layered ribbons and a stamped image of the love birds stamp form February scrapagogo kit.

These chipboard letters were all dressed up from DCWV in silver glitter.... Lush

Ice-cream factory

I took some really great photos of me and my friend Lauren on Tuesday night after weight watchers we had our weekly treat and this week we had a ice-cream factory like we used to have a pizza hut before we stated to look too silly :-p I also decided to have a go at the scrapagogo pre-retreat challenge 2 :-) which was a sketch layout with 8 photos, 8 lines of journaling and 8 embellishments.

I used a teal piece of card stock for the background and a piece of doodlebug sweet treats paper which I brought ages ago and was saving for the right photographs :-)

I used doodlebug brads to embellish the page as well as some coloured adhesive gems and cut out circles and scallops from patented paper. Also I inked around the edge of the journaling to blend with the teal frame.
