Christmas Gifts

Christmas can be an expensive time of year especially for me! As I have two sisters and six brothers including step bro/sis, mum, dad, step mum, step dad, a fiancee and his family that's without Friends and work colleagues!!! lots of money!!! eeeekkk so i decided to make gift bags with a small box of chocolate/ chocolate coins and a small gift as presents. I used A4 card and made a net which i photocopied, scored and folded to create the bag. Used Marion Emberson stamp designs: Tis The Season, stamp collection to embellish my gift bags with red glitter and ribbon. ENJOY!!!

The pictures not that great as it was taken on a Mobile phone camera in 2006!!! technology is getting better lol. we celebrated in Christmas in February as we both like to spend time with our families at Christmas and being students we were very poor so brought all the gifts in the Christmas sale heheheh hope u like it.

Forever & Always

This is my entry for this months Indigo Mill (mill pond blog) Sketch competition, the photograph inspired my colour choices , black, white and red of my top strap in the picture. I used create paper black and white checkered scallop circle and white bazzil card stock inked with black ink to create a smokey effect. I layered up flower punched shapes with buttons and brads. with a large acrylic flower shape with hand drawn hearts with quickie glue pen and black glittered embossing powder to create a decorative corner piece to my LO. I made the letter tiles using old letter stickers and black ink by peeling off the stickers after left the letter imprint. I used a template to create the scroll detail using my quickie glue pen and black embossing powder. I used my dynamo sticker machine to make my journaling which reads "When you say I love you I say forever and always." I am really pleased with the final product and it really symbolises how much i love my fiancee i cant wait to marry him xxxxxxxx

Pretty In Pink- Indigo Mill Competition

This is my entry for the Indigo Mill September Sketch Layout Competition - details can be found on http://indigomill.blogspot.com/2009/09/are-you-up-for.html

I used paper by Bo-Bunny and In the Pink Card stock by Bazzill for the main layout with teal and pink card stock for the photo matting, I painted the Chipboard Flower with Raspberry and Pool acrylic paint dabbers by Adirondack- Bights. The title was made using my zyron cutting machine- handwriting font design book, I used teal colored ink to edge around the letters. And the Quickie Glue Pen sprinkled with pink glitter to create the subtitle. I used a white frilly ribbon from the belle at the ball (previous indigo kit) and a teal ribbon with diamante buttons and flower brads to embellish my page... I hope you like it.
