I created this Layout at one I my local crops at Writtle collage in chelmsford. I used pink bazzil cardstock as a base and ivory layered on top with a black inked edge. I used papers from the Dear Lizzy neapolitan range and My girl American crafts range as well as a jar cut from one of the dear Lizzy lucky charms range I love all these papers and I'm going for a blue, pink, white with hints of yellow and black for my wedding album. I just live the end result of this page :-)
I added a little cluster of buttons and brads from my stash close to the jar which I tied with teal thread and a little flower bling ......... Enjoy xxxx

Cupcakes :-)
So been getting busy in my nice tidy space :-) love it!!! I took a trip over to www.shimelle.com and saw a inspirational layout which I have scrap lifted.... This is the original design.
Below is my work, I used pink and blue acrylic paints that I flicked at the edge of opposite corners of the layout. I used a selection of papers I had on my desk left over from previous projects but kept with blue, pink and yellow colours. As well as a selection of brads and washi tape. I used an exclusive GoGoGetaway stamp from a class last march which is a speech bubble but I use it as a cloud. The photograph is raised on foam pads and the card is inked pick and layered like a Polaroid picture. Enjoy Katie xxxx

Up to no good!
These pictures always make me smile, our bridesmaids decided to have some fun in our bridal suite taking pictures of them selfs sitting in our bath tub and left them on my kindle to find!!! So funny.
For this layout it was a Fancy Pants- trend setter sketch and the original design included a frame style. The title for this one had to be up to no good!

The only exception
The title for this layout came so naturally when I started looking at the papers from Crate Paper by Maggie Holmes it had to be this paper called 'Moments' detailed with music notes and splashes of light blue paint. Absolutely perfect for our first dance pictures and our first dance was Paramore - the only exception, not a very well heard of song but the words are very close to my heart, the song is about a girl not believing in love from witnessing her parents falling out of love, and there heartbreak, she vows that she will not love! However she finds her only exception! - when me and Chris met I was very guarded saying I don't believe in love people just get hurt but it was just a protective statement. And I fell very much in love! Our first dance was a true statement of our journey.........
Enough of the heavy and back to the pretty paper.... This is my favourite creation of the weekend. I love the bunting title and lace with bunting embellishments including one of our tags from the sweet buffet saying yummy for my tummy! I asked around the room for some mini pegs and my friend Tracy provided me with some pink ones :-) I just love this page let me know what you think? Katie xxx

Love these memories
This layout was the next sketch challenge I did across the weekend that is GoGo fun times! This one you needed to use a product from the Prima Life time collection and I've got to admit I wasn't really that taken by the papers, I've never really been keen on Prima which for someone who loves to use flowers to embellish her pages is quite a shock! So I purchased only two pieces of patterned paper to complete the sketch challenge but I was very surprised by the end result! which I LOVE!!
I used some Pre-Ceremony pictures of my new Husband relaxing with a pint to steady the nervous. It used subtle tones of the robins egg blue mixed with the whites and creams of the Prima paper and added some bling !

To have and to hold
This was also a sketch challenge this time the page needed to include some products from the American crafts- lucky Charm range from Dear Lizzy. If you liked the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan range then your love this paper. This was my favourite range on sale in the GoGo shop at the getaway and I managed to pick up a lovely Jar Stamp so I can recreate my own jars filled with all sorts of paper treats :-). But for this layout I cut the jar saying love you to the stars and back! Which was fitting for this photograph of me and Chris relaxing after the wedding ceremony :-)
I also used some very lovely Mr and Mrs washie tape from east of India which I picked up from my local scrapbook supply shop sugar and spice based at Barleylands Billericay perfect.
