This is my second layout using Julys Essentially GoGo Picnic basket Kit, I used the websters Sunday picnic joy ride paper as the bicycle seamed appropriate. the race for business, a 3 1/2 mile run through Chelmsford town which I took part in for my nursery. I was very proud that I competed the cause 7 minutes faster than last year.
I created a banner using patterned paper and the white foam thickers and used the journaling hybrid to write about the event. Enjoy Katie xxx

Creative Station

When I opened up the May scrapagogo kit I loved the October afternoon- girl Friday but as I work with children for a living an I'm yet to have my own home to be a domestics goddess of the 'keep your desk nice and neat' sentiment was most appropriate to my creative station in my bedroom as I don't have a craft room. So I took a picture of my work space for this layout :-)
I used the create story teller yesterday paper as a background included a gray border around the sentiment and as a photo mat and added the address file strip behind the photo. For the title I coloured the letters silver with permanent pen and added the orange scallop branding strip from the crate paper to make a title shelf! I embellished with the stamp, Gray telephone die cut which I borrowed from Karen Curd at the crop and the telephone metal charm tied with the string from the tag :-) enjoy!!!!

Girl Talk

This is another layout using the scrapagogo May kit I used different sized rectangle cuts of the Gray card stock to split the page into odd sections to the page. I chose a picture of me and my friend Lauren when we went for ice-cream at Thorntons after going swimming, so added some ice-cream colours with the flowers and gem stones. When I was at the scrapagogo May crop a very kind Karen Curd who I sat next to let me cut out some supper cute telephones from her Tim Holtz die :-) thank-you Karen.

For this layout I used Amy Tangerine Stitched Paper Star, with Thickers black letters in Doll font. I used red polka dot paper I had in my Stash to match with the red stripe on my graduation gown. and I cut out a journalling strip from the Fabulous- simple stories range.

Party Bus

This is one of the Layouts Ive done with the photos form a recent night out in London with my work girlie's on a party bus, it was an amazing night. I used the free papers and embellishments from the June Edition of Simply Homemade which were jubilee themed which matched my outfit and the London Union jack colours.

I created these little flags on cocktail sticks from the embellishments in the magazine pack and the bus was also in the pack.

Masquerade Ball

So this is my sixth layout using the April scrapagogo kit and I feel very sad that its all gone bar the couple of  little bits left which I may make some tags with. it has been a lovely kit to work with thank you go go girls xxxx

Ok so for this last kit Ive used some white paint and the studio calico packaging form the wood veneer stars as a template, I love the effect this has created. I used a picture taken of me, Lauren and Claire at soph and Sarah's masquerade ball in December, printed in back and white which gives it definition. I also added the birdcage charm to sage green card stock and put the peach letters onto the green card stock to make the title stand out.

Enjoy love Katie xxxx

Birthday Wish

This my fith layout using scrapagogo April kit I added I piece of pale pink card stock as a background I love the pink tones in the jars and hybrids I think it all ties so nicely together like a piece of pretty ribbon :-)  I inked around the edge of the papers and jars with brown ink.

Also I added some wood veneer die cut stars from studio calico in different sizes which I LOVE!!!! I filled the jars with punched out hearts from diffrent pices of paper that were left over.

Funny Faces

This is my forth layout using the April going for a song kit and I added a teal piece of bazzil for the background and it really ties in with my scarf and chris' jumper, also I used some American crafts adhesive badges I brought in a sale from sugar and spice and used this lush ribbon I got from two birds in a barn at poplar nurseries in Marks-Tey, it was £1.25 a meter and its stretchy and was measured outstretched so you get lots more for your money!!! I also got some in red and white gingham patter too which I have planned for some pictures of me and the work girls partying on a London bus :-)
Here is a close up of those cute badges and the perfume bottle charm ties with the cord from the April tag and I used the hybrid saying you are the one who holds the key to my heart, which is such a lovey sentiment <3

I layered up a few of the hybrids in this corner inked in brown and used one of the MME follow your heart 'Be Happy' stickers.

This next Page is more focused on this funky map of the hotel grounds we stayed at as part of my surprise for the night before my birthday, I used three photographs of us exploring the hotel at the top of the page. it was very luxurious thank you so much for making my birthday special xxxxx

These tags were from the MME Miss Caroline range yummy!!!!
